I-pod

Music- one word in itself is more than enough. Something that can rub out loneliness and amplify the fun. It wound not at all be wrong to call it as basic necessity of life (atleast for me!!). And as music carries so much importance, how can it be blanked out by our great technology leaders.

One of the great inventions to our music world is I-Pod. The portable media player invented by Apple Computers in 2001 and within 5 years of its existence it has become the world's largest selling digital media player. This small thing can be with you everywhere with a long lasting battery and a numerous list of songs, videos as well as movies. Comparing this sleek device with earlier walkman or CD-man/disc man, the change is superlative!!

This thing has surely acquired a great importance in my life. One thing, that is a part of me now. Where ever you go, what ever you do!! Moving to the past, I was very much contended when I got Motorola L7, the days when I never used to have i-pod. It was like carrying music with you with a specific list of songs though and a low battery back up as well when a special feature of mobile phones-making calls has to be kept in mind :-). But i was pretty happy with it till I got I-Pod in my hand. The thing in white just changed my music world with an staggering sound system. In one line, "IT ROCKS!!"
Pondering on the advancement in technology, from walk-man to disc man and then to I-pods , the same old question peeps "WHAT ELSE??"

Computer!!

What is a Computer??
Well, finding a correct definition would be somewhat hard. For some people, its just a device which connects them through world, for some it carries documentary information and yet some others carry their home, office with it.
For me, its just something which makes life worthwhile as you get to know there are many things which needs to be explored. Every time I go online, I find many new things and some are just ignored coz of the shortage of time. I just imagine how vast the net world is. Seriously, its something beyond imagination. It offers you anything you can experiment upon. You just have to put your imagination into words and you get a number of pages before you.
It would not be wrong to categorise programming as a part of Computer's development. Millions of users enter into computer world everyday. Many of these make the best use of their knowldege and designs a software for us. But we hardly think of what effort would the programmer have made while creating it. Have you ever wondered how much time would have he devoted in designing the game you are playing..I had never till I entered the world of programming. And now as I can be categorised into programmers(not good ones although!!), I spend more of my time wondering, how can such a great idea strike in one's mind.
I aspire to be a software engineer in the coming years and I wanna do something that could leave the computer world horrified!!(Dreams too high!!)

Mobile Phones-tremendous invention!!

Pretty frustrated with the day, I thought of writing a blog. What you have to do is, just join out some points in a beautiful way..easy, huh?? Well, not that much, first thing you can spend hours on is searching for a TITLE..and candidly speaking I dropped the idea as I couldn't find one and picked up my cell..and there I got it.

Yeah! I gonna write about a thing which entirely changed the world of communication in just 10 years of its existence-CELLULAR PHONES.

From the past BSNL days, we have switched over to cellular phones. The small thing that follows you whereever you maybe. The first one, invented by Dr. Martin Cooper was a huge box and sware if I get the same now I gonna quit using mobile, but we were happy as there is going to be something which would be with us in every embarrasing, normal or special moments of our life. Slowly and slowly the huge box got converted to a normal one, then in a sleek one with several options being added. And now, you get somewhat you desire or what you can think of, obviously if your bank balance supports ;). It no longer remained just a way to communicate but a necessity playing different roles each time-a camera when you are out, a music player when you need, your pc when you need to connect worldwide and lots more.
This small thing has surely acquired a lot of space in my life. The day starts with it, the day ends with it, the day is being carried on with it. Its really hard to imagine life without it..I think word "impossible" suits here. Sometimes I wonder more is yet to be explored, maybe something more than a cellular phone but what this more could be...aha NO LIMITS!!
